Our first official track practice will be on Wednesday 4/15 5:30 PM @ Westlake High School. I know past emails said Tuesday but Vista Heights Middle School is having a track meet that day. Current weather report shows a potential for snow. We will practice if we can, please check facebook and your text message alerts for updates.
Because of that weather, I have moved the parents meeting to Thursday 4/16 5:30PM @ Westlake High School. The kids will practice while I collect fees and answer questions.
Please bring a registration form and payment. $100 for new athletes and those that need uniform. $85 for those that will use their uniform from previous year. We are changing colors this year but you are not required to get a new uniform if yours still fits. Make checks payable to "Westlake Track Club". Sorry, I can only take cash or check.
To make it easier to communicate with parents I have set up a
remind.com account that allows for you to receive updates about practice, meets, etc via text message. Once the season gets started, I will send out every few emails.
Our fist track meet is scheduled for May 9th. The location has not yet be determined but it will be some where in the Salt Lake Valley. Past meets have been at Timpanogos HS, Provo HS, UVU, Park City, and Lone Peak HS. I would expect more of the same this year.
